Immersed in a sea of visceral crimson, a tiny green figure floats suspended in a vast organic landscape. This final work in the 2004 triptych pulses with the raw, chaotic energy of life. Ilana saturates the canvas with reds suggesting the warmth of a living body. Within this field, the small green baby appears almost neon, a distinct spark of life.
